This past weekend my mom and I took a trip to Lancaster, Pennsylvania to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day. We were on our way to Hershey, Pennsylvania and decided to stop for lunch at an Irish pub in Lancaster. We found one small pub; however, it was very good. The pub had no one else there besides those working and it didn’t feel very festive for the holiday.. We decided to go to the next closest pub.
We stumbled upon Annie Bailey’s Irish Public House. This place was so much different from the last. First of all, Annie Bailey’s had a live band playing good Irish folk music for Saint Patrick’s Day. The band consisted of three men. One playing the violin, one on the guitar, and the last playing a brosna bodhran (similar to a small drum). The man on the drums could also play an Irish flute or whistle. The songs they played were so joyful a little boy, who was all dressed up, even started dancing along. Annie Bailey’s food was also very good and tasted similar to the food I remember having with my friends in Ireland.
Overall, the pub was completely packed inside and out with people wearing their green, and it was the best way to spend my Saint Patrick’s Day.
But that’s just how I saw it… Through my eyes.

The first 4 pictures are my own from this Saint Patrick's Day! The last picture of the front of the pub is from https://travelswithaconfederate.wordpress.com/tag/annie-baileys-irish-pub/
